Alexandria, Louisiana. (CALB) – The 10th Annual Women in Business Conference concludes on Friday, October 14th.
The conference is hosted by the Central Louisiana Chamber of Commerce. It aims to bring women together for two days of informative presentations by influential speakers, encouragement and celebration.
This year’s keynote speaker is Louisiana CAT President Sally Rinehart. Additional presentations by Dr. Markey Pierre, author and motivational speaker, Ph.D. Beth Palmer, assistant vice chancellor for holistic education at LSU in Alexandria.
Organisers say the conference provides a way for women to communicate and build relationships.
“This is an opportunity to meet successful women who are willing to mentor others,” said Deborah Randolph, president of the Cenla Chamber of Commerce. “Women who participate in conferences are very successful, and they are usually at some point in their careers looking to connect with someone who is coming to help them succeed in their careers.”
