Trondheim, Norway, Dec. 29, 2022 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — BeyonC announced today that it has been selected to join Chevron Technology Ventures’ (CTV) Catalyst Program, which helps early-stage companies mature into Its technologies are designed to benefit the world of energy industries globally. The program incentivizes BeyonC to further develop proprietary technologies aimed at improving the safety of performing subsea inspections while reducing carbon emissions, potentially increasing asset reliability and reducing costs.
BeyonC has patent-pending technology that provides cost-effective, on-demand asset integrity data from micro ROVs (Remotely Operated Vehicles). The BeyonC technology platform has been shown to significantly reduce the CO2 footprint compared to measurements taken by large offshore vessels.Data includes cathodic protection (CP) status from industry-leading FiGS® Platform fully integrated into the body of the ROV. BeyonC’s technology provides CP status and visual surveys for offshore installations, decision data for operators and mapping of the integrity status of offshore installations. In 2023, BeyonC will target oil and gas pipelines and plans to conduct the first offshore wind integrity survey.
Launched in 2017, the CTV Catalyst program aims to accelerate the maturation of early-stage companies demonstrating technologies that will benefit the energy industry. By reaching the Catalyst Program milestone, BeyonC can progress towards the commercialization of its technology and complete trials with global operators in the energy sector.
