BeyonC Selected to Join Chevron Technology Ventures’ Catalyst Program

(WO) — BeyonC announced that it has been selected to join the Chevron Technology Ventures (CTV) Catalyst Program, a program designed to help early-stage companies mature their technologies for the benefit of the global energy industry.

The program incentivizes BeyonC to further develop proprietary technologies aimed at improving the safety of performing subsea inspections while reducing carbon emissions, potentially increasing asset reliability and reducing costs.

BeyonC has patent-pending technology that provides cost-effective, on-demand asset integrity data to micro ROVs (Remotely Operated Vehicles). The BeyonC technology platform has been shown to significantly reduce the CO2 footprint compared to measurements taken by large offshore vessels.

Data includes cathodic protection (CP) status from the industry-leading FiGS® platform, which is fully integrated into the ROV body. BeyonC’s technology provides CP status and visual surveys for offshore installations, decision data for operators and mapping of the integrity status of offshore installations. In 2023, BeyonC will target oil and gas pipelines and plans to conduct the first offshore wind integrity survey.

By reaching the Catalyst Program milestone, BeyonC can move towards the commercialization of its technology and complete trials with global operators in the energy sector.
