NEW ORLEANS – StayLocal and its member businesses will welcome holiday shoppers on November 11th. Small Business Saturdays are celebrated across greater New Orleans on the 26th. StayLocal is on Independent Business Alliance Support shops, restaurants and seasonal markets.

The Saturday after Thanksgiving, between Black Friday and Cyber ​​Monday, Small Business Saturday is a national shopping event that encourages consumers to support independent businesses and strengthen local economies.Local businesses will host events and offer deals and promotions, bringing Thumbnail Logo 1 1#ShopSmall message home. On Nov. 1/26, a StayLocal spokesperson said StayLocal member businesses will add a festive touch and special offers to the “professional service, curated merchandise and local flavors that New Orleans businesses are known for.”

StayLocal says that for every dollar spent on locally owned independent businesses, it gives back to the community two to three times as much as spending on non-local businesses. These dollars are recycled through the local economy, creating more local jobs and community wealth.
