DAYTONA BEACH, Fla., January 9, 2023 – The LPGA announced today that the Jody Brothers have joined the organization as the new Chief Business and Operations Officer for the Epson Tour. Brothers has extensive golf industry knowledge in the areas of business development, strategic partnerships and tournament operations and has held various leadership positions on the PGA Tour since 2007.

The Brothers will lead the Epson Tour team to deliver more than 20 tournaments per year, develop partnerships with corporate and tournament partners to ensure the highest quality at each tournament, manage the dedicated Epson Tour staff and provide the LPGA Tour with a strong talent pipeline.

The Brothers have been with the PGA Tour for nearly 16 years, most recently as Vice President of Business Development. In this role, Brothers led his team in identifying, pitching and negotiating multi-year title sponsorship and official marketing partnerships, navigating elements including league rights, television and digital media, player sponsorships, and investments in local tournament assets , such as hospitality and online services. Brothers joined the PGA Tour in 2007 as director of business development for TPC San Antonio, where he has risen through the ranks in various roles, including general manager of TPC Stonebrae and TPC Harding Park, tournament director of the Stonebrae Classic, executive officer Events Director of First Tee for 10 Million Young People, Senior Director of Event Business Affairs and Vice President of the Commissioner’s Office, Korn Ferry Tour.
Earlier in his career, Brothers founded and operated Uptown Golf Company in Dallas, where he conceived, funded, launched and operated all of golf-related e-commerce sites JustGolfBags.com and e9.golf. Brothers successfully sold JustGolfBags.com in 2008.
An avid golfer, the Brothers began their professional golf career at Butte Creek Country Club, Mount Shasta Resort and Canyon Oaks Country Club in Northern California, while playing professionally on the Dakota Tour, Pepsi Tour and Golden State Circuit tourism. He graduated from California State University in Chico with a BA in Business Administration-Marketing and played on the varsity golf team.
