Washington –(Business Wire) — FEELM, the flagship vaping technology platform of SMOORE, the world’s largest e-cigarette manufacturer, participated in this year’s annual Global Tobacco and Nicotine Forum (GTNF) in Washington, D.C., and advocated the importance of the industry’s continuous drive for improvement and efficiency, rather than standing still.
The nicotine industry is innovating at breakneck speed to help create a more sustainable world through scientific research and new product development. As a participant in the “Products: Innovation of Tomorrow” roundtable discussion, Chief Scientist, SMOORE American Institute, Ph.D. Shi discussed the innovative direction his company is taking to launch new vaping products to an audience of hundreds.
SMOORE has established 14 basic research institutions around the world, applied for more than 4,300 patents, and hired more than 1,200 R&D experts to promote continuous innovation. In terms of safety, SMOORE has established a one-stop testing system for the EU Tobacco Products Directive and a US Premarket Tobacco Product Application (PMTA) testing laboratory. As a result, FEELM has not only become the technology provider that helps the most customer brands in the world pass PMTA, but also has made major breakthroughs in product safety and nicotine delivery efficiency.
PhD. Shi spoke at length about these breakthroughs and product development, especially in the context of tobacco harm reduction, saying:
“More and more government agencies and nonprofits are concerned about the public health risks of nicotine addiction; this is one of the directions of our technological innovation.
“Through our research, we hope to explore the ‘low nicotine high satisfaction’ of e-cigarettes.”
In addition, much of the discussion at GTNF revolves around environmental issues and promoting sustainable industries. In May, FEELM announced its net zero target, which aims to be carbon neutral by 2050. As a supplier of electronic cigarette manufacturers, FEELM launched the FEELM Max solution this year, which is the world’s first disposable pod with ceramic coil, allowing consumers to enjoy more puffs. Has better flavor, smoother mouthfeel and better consistency.
In addition, FEELM’s fully automatic factory is being upgraded and will be transformed into a green factory in the future, which will greatly reduce carbon emissions in the production process and help our customers reduce part of their carbon footprint before the products are on the market.
On GTNF, FEELM won the “Most Potential New Product” Golden Leaf Award. At the award ceremony, Dr. Shi said: “Thank you very much to our industry partners for their support and trust since FEELM was first launched and for their continued support over the years. We will strive to work with our partners on the journey ahead of us. bring the best technology and products to the right consumers.”
The Global Tobacco and Nicotine Forum (GTNF) is the world’s leading annual forum for discussing the future of the tobacco and nicotine industry. It is founded on the principle that through the dynamic dialogue and broadened horizons that the Forum promotes, we can truly shape the future together. Since its launch in Rio de Janeiro in 2008, GTNF has become a global venue for the exchange of views and ideas among public health experts, government representatives, industry and investors. In the past three days, global tobacco giants such as British American Tobacco (BAT), Philip Morris International (PMI) and Altria have also participated in the event and expressed their views.
