HCAH acquires digital care platform Seniority

HCAH, a healthtech company in India’s out-of-hospital care space, is expanding into aged care through the acquisition of senior-focused companies digital RPG Group’s Nursing Platform Credentials.

Seniority is one of India’s largest senior care platforms with a portfolio of over 20,000 medical and lifestyle products for seniors.

HCAH purchased the platform to expand its reach and consumer base while addressing unmet needs in the aged care industry.

“By acquiring Seniority, we aim to meet all needs and provide a one-stop shop for our rapidly growing senior population,” said CEO and Co-Founder Vivek Srivastava.

Approximately 60% of HCAH’s current consumer base is seniors, who provide rehabilitation, ICU and nursing, paramedic, counseling, laboratory and equipment services to them at home through its digital platforms and transitional care centers.

Following the acquisition, HCAH will independently open new stores on Seniority and in its transitional care centers. It also plans to offer new services, such as assisted living, senior day care and senior concierge services.


Qmed Asia secures multiple partnerships in Asia

Malaysian telemedicine startup Qmed Asia recently signed several partnerships in Asia.

In October, it signed two memorandums of understanding with Taiwanese companies, telemedicine platform Eucare and AI semantic technology provider Ubestream.

The company was also hired by an unnamed insurance provider in Indonesia to help launch a mobile real-time queuing solution for hospitals.

It also signed a memorandum of understanding with Cambodia-based digital health platform MeetDoctor.

Qmed Asia is currently raising funds through equity crowdfunding at Leet Capital.

Indian mobile health and fitness app HealthifyMe has appointed a Stanford professor and researcher as its advisory chief medical officer.
