As Erie Restaurant Week wraps up this weekend, we’ve heard feedback from the owner of a local business.
Marci Honard, owner of State Street Calamari’s Squid Row, described this year’s Erie Restaurant Week as a success. She said the restaurant was usually busy on Saturdays and Sundays and they saw more business during the week.
Hornard added that Restaurant Week helps attract more customers at lunchtime.
“January is usually a bit slower. We’re down a bit from the holidays and everyone’s starting to make up their minds and maybe go out less often, so I think that’s really helped. It’s helped the month end and I think VisitErie has done a good job in terms of promotion Very good,” said Honard.
Erie Restaurant Week ends on Sunday, January. 29.
