- Sim brings Google and Waymo experience to his new role at STRADVISION
Seoul, Korea, October 17, 2022 /PRNewswire/ — STREETVISIONAI-Based Visual Perception Technology Company, Announces Appointments Jack Sheen As Chief Technology Officer (CTO).Sim will lead STRADVISION’s highly talented technical team while working directly with other executives to implement and integrate their award-winning technology SVNet Software for various automotive OEMs and Tier 1 partners.

With more than ten years of software engineering experience, Jacsim Previous work includes working as a software engineer at Google Research and Waymo, and contributing to academia through various activities. During his tenure at Google, Sim led a team responsible for developing a technology that provides fine-grained object recognition capabilities for large image databases. During his tenure at Waymo, Sim was responsible for machine learning (ML) models for the company’s self-driving truck product line.
Sim is also recognized as one of the world experts in deep learning visual features and their applications. A public dataset (Google Landmarks) developed by Sim and his team has also been established as one of the standard benchmarks in the field of large-scale visual recognition.
Shen studying in Seoul National University His postgraduate education led him to a Masters in Computer and Information Science University of Pennsylvania.
