Two inmates who escaped from a Virginia prison have been captured after authorities found them hiding in a Tennessee barn, officials said.

Police arrested Johnny Sean Brown and Albert Lee Rickerson in Rogersville, Tennessee, on Friday, the Washington County Virginia Sheriff’s Office said, a day earlier from Southwest Virginia in Abingdon. The Regional Bureau of Prisons escaped.

The fugitive is believed to be traveling in a stolen gold Cadillac SUV with “obviously damaged” Virginia license plates on the rear, authorities said.

Then on Friday, the two were arrested about four miles from where the stolen vehicle was located without incident, police said.

Brown, a 51-year-old federal prisoner, is being held without bond at the Washington County Jail in Tennessee, while Rickettson, 31, was convicted of double homicide and is being held without bond at the Hawkins County Jail in Tennessee , the sheriff’s office said.
