WISeKey announces implement orProject “Qunmanned aerial system“(quantum Anti-safety architecture project) has officially received the SCS label as a recognition of its quality and innovation

Geneva – January 262023: WISeKey International Holdings Limited (“WISeKey”) (Six: WIHN, Nasdaq: WKEY), A sort of The world’s leading cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, blockchain and IoT company announced today that it has formed a new company called SEALSQ Corp. Propose the Quasar project.

WISeKey through SEALSQ Corp (www.SEALSQ.com) has taken aggressive steps to implement its QUASARS program. The QUASARS project is a radically innovative solution based on the new WISeKey Secure RISC V platform paving the way for the post-quantum cryptography era, providing ) recommendations. Notably, WISeKey Semiconductors’ QUASARS project is supported by the French SCS (Secure Communication Solutions) cluster.

Carlos Moreira, CEO of WISeKey, noted, “Our cutting-edge QUASARS project is housed in SEALSQ Corp, a newly formed semiconductor quantum technology company dedicated to advancing the field of post-quantum computing and making it usable by a wide range of industries already using our semiconductors, which are Driving advances in communications, computing, healthcare, military systems, transportation, clean energy and countless other applications.”

gentlemen. Moreira continued: “Our teams of experts in Switzerland, France and the US have been working tirelessly over the past 36 months to develop innovative post-quantum solutions that harness the power of quantum mechanics to solve complex problems. Our post-quantum solutions include Post-quantum microchips and other quantum devices could be used in a variety of applications, from cryptography and drug discovery to artificial intelligence and financial modeling.”

Post-quantum cryptography (PQC) refers to cryptographic methods that can resist quantum computer attacks. As quantum computers become more powerful, they may be able to break many encryption methods currently used to protect sensitive information, such as RSA and elliptic curve cryptography (ECC). PQC aims to develop new cryptographic methods that are resistant to quantum attacks.

An example of a post-quantum technology is lattice-based cryptography, a type of public-key cryptography based on the difficulty of a mathematical problem known as the Shortest Vector Problem (SVP), which is considered too difficult for a quantum computer to solve . Lattice-based cryptography can be used for tasks such as digital signatures, key exchange, and encryption.

Another example is code-based cryptography, which is based on the difficulty of decoding certain algebraic structures called error-correcting codes. These codes can be used to create digital signatures, key exchange and encryption schemes that are resistant to quantum attacks.

It is worth noting that post-quantum cryptography is still in its early stages of development, and research is ongoing to identify and improve the most promising post-quantum techniques.

WISeKey, part of the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) National Cybersecurity Center of Excellence (NCCoE) project, is a new security platform that will help define best practices for performing trusted network layer onboarding and has A trusted onboarding solution that facilitates the implementation and use of IoT or IoT devices at scale.

For more information on the consortium, please visit: http://www.nccoe.nist.gov/projects/trusted-iot-device-network-layer-onboarding-and-lifecycle-management.

For this project, WISeKey is working with NIST to define recommended practices for performing trusted network layer onboarding, which will facilitate the large-scale implementation and use of trusted onboarding solutions for IoT devices.

WISeKey’s contribution to the project will be a trust service for certificates and secure semiconductors to keep certificates safe. Specifically, WISeKey will provide the INeS Certificate Management Service (CMS) to issue credentials and the VaultIC security semiconductor to provide tamper-resistant key storage and encryption acceleration.

About WISeKey

WISeKey (NASDAQ: WKEY; SIX: WIHN ), a leading global cybersecurity company, is using blockchain, artificial intelligence and IoT to treat people as the fulcrum of the Internet, providing Deploying large-scale digital identity ecosystems for people and things. WISeKey microprocessors ensure pervasive computing shaping today’s Internet of Everything. WISeKey IoT has an installed base of over 1.5 billion microchips in virtually all IoT domains (connected cars, smart cities, drones, agricultural sensors, anti-counterfeiting, smart lighting, servers, computers, mobile phones, crypto tokens, etc.). WISeKey is uniquely positioned at the edge of the IoT because our semiconductors generate vast amounts of big data that, when analyzed using artificial intelligence (AI), can help industrial applications predict equipment failures before they occur.

Our technology is trusted by OISTE/WISeKey’s Swiss-based cryptographic Root of Trust (“RoT”) to provide secure authentication and identification for IoT, Blockchain and Artificial Intelligence in physical and virtual environments. WISeKey RoT acts as a common trust anchor to ensure the integrity of online transactions between things and between things and people. For more information, please visit www.wisekey.com.
